2018 Book Sale at the Murrysville Community Library
Murrysville AAUW and the Library will join in the event - November 8, 9, & 10

BICYCLE RAFFLE: One adult and one children's bicycle will be raffled off on the last day of the sale. Each bicycle comes with an accompanying gift basket.

Starting October 1 we will be accepting books for the annual Murrysville AAUW/Murrysville Community Library Book Sale. Books in excellent condition will be accepted in these categories until November 7 at the Circulation Desk.

         

BOOK SALE HOURS:

Thursday and Friday, November 8 and 9 - 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 10 - 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. with the Annual Bag Sale on Saturday from noon till 2:00 p.m.

We’ll officially welcome our new director, Mrs. Emma Beaver, at a reception in the Library on January 23 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Library Board Meetings

The Library Board meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend these regular monthly meetings. Dates for upcoming meetings of the board: January 17, February 21 and March 21.

PUSHING THE LIMITS

PUSHING THE LIMITS, our adult, science-based reading and discussion group will not meet again until Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.. The books for discussion are The Hidden Reality by Brian Greene and The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. Request the books at the Circulation Desk.
